For first-time guests joining the Krazy Dog Lady family, we ask for at least 2 weeks’ notice so we can schedule a fun meet-and-greet with you and your pup! This gives us time to get acquainted and makes sure your furry friend feels completely comfortable before their first adventure with us. While we do our best to help with those unexpected last-minute needs, the more advance notice you can give us, the better we can plan for your pet’s perfect stay.

Once you’re part of our KDL family, we’re much more flexible! We can often accommodate same-day requests for our regular guests, as long as we have space in our schedule and cozy spots available in our home. We love being your go-to pet care solution whenever you need us!

Life happens, and we totally get it! Flights get delayed, weather changes plans, or sometimes you just need an extra day or two. No worries at all – we’re here to keep your furry friend safe and happy for as long as needed! Just give us a quick call or text to let us know about any changes to your pet’s stay or if you need additional services. We’re flexible and understanding because we know that sometimes the unexpected happens, and your pet’s safety and comfort always come first with us!

Your pet’s health and safety are our top priority! If any medical concerns arise, we’ll contact you immediately to keep you informed and work together on the best course of action. We’ll do everything we can to get your furry friend to their regular vet if they’re within 3 miles of us. If not, we’ll head straight to the nearest emergency pet hospital to ensure they get the care they need right away.

As outlined in our care agreement, any veterinary expenses will be your responsibility as the pet owner, but rest assured we’ll be right there with your pup every step of the way, making sure they’re comfortable and getting the best possible care until you can be reunited!

For our home-based boarding, the meet-and-greet includes introducing your pup to our current furry residents. This helps ensure everyone gets along perfectly and keeps all our four-legged friends safe and happy! You’ll leave with a complete information packet covering all our services, plus some simple forms to fill out before their first stay with us.

During this visit, we’ll gather general information about your pet and take detailed notes about any special instructions or preferences. For in-home care services, we’ll also collect your house key or entry code, and we’ll ask for half of the estimated care cost to secure your booking. It’s all about making sure your pet’s first adventure with us is absolutely perfect!
